課程概述 |
此課程會邀請在美國的系友，介紹生物技術及分享生技產業的現況，因此除了第一堂課於教室說明課程規定之外，其餘為線上課程。
This course will introduce five different areas of biotechnology. Several advanced research and commercially available products will be discussed in this course. FDA regulation for products as well as the product development process (PDP) will be introduced. Students would benefit from these industry best practices when they enter the biotech industry.
本課程將介紹生物技術的五個不同領域。課程中將討論多項先進研究和商業產品。此外，課程將介紹產品的FDA規定以及產品開發過程（PDP）。這些產業實踐相關的知識，對學生進入生技產業時將有很大的助益。 |

課程目標 |
The primary goal of this lecture is for students to gain broad a knowledge of biotechnology in five concentrations: Micro/nanotechnology, Biomaterials, Biomechanics, Imaging, and Computation. Students could understand how to develop a device through the “product development process,” which is widely applied in industry.
這堂課的主要目標是讓學生在五個專業方向中獲得生物科技的廣泛知識，包括微/納米技術、生物材料、生物機械、影像學和計算。學生能夠了解如何透過廣泛應用於工業界的「產品開發過程」來開發裝置。 |
